Our company started with humble beginnings. We try to keep those small values as our core values as we grow.

January 2017
The Ibus stool is released
We release our most successful product to date, a modular stool that sets a trend across the industry for inexpensive, professionally designed items to replace the boring commoditized options that preceeded it.
April 2016
The team grows
In April we hire two additional designers and bring on our very own mascot/product tester. Jaxon, the rescue pup, tests all our furniture of durability and personally tastes all our new materials to make sure they have the right mouth feel.
February 2016
Our own workspace
In February of next year we leased our first commercial space and began designing our own office for the first time. This marked a move from contract work to product design as we took on a larger space that allowed us to prototype our designs in house.
January 2016
We become a studio
In October 2015 we picked up out first commercial design contract under the name Story Design and we started building furniture for industrial office spaces.
January 2014
Our first product
We released our first desk organizer dock four years ago. It was designed as a side project and built in a friends garage. We were surprised and elated to see it take off and it give us a hint that maybe we were on to something.
